The Saint Paul Foyer Art Commission

quadriptyque geneve.jpg

I was pleased to realize a large quadriptyque for the entrance hall of the Saint Paul Foyer in Cologny. This large painting, which represents a view of the Rade de Genève from Byron Meadow, was commissioned by the foyer at the end of 2019. After having been there to measure the dimensions and the space to occupy, I made several sketches in watercolour. After some adjustments, I projected myself on this large format consisting of 4 panels of 160 cm x 80 cm.

Installed at the beginning of the year and officially inaugurated on January 21, 2020, I am proud to have created this painting that represents, for the residents of the retirement home, an open window on the lake and its light.

Painting this art commission was a challenge because I usually paint smaller formats and I had to make some room in my workshop to accommodate these 4 large formats and then be able to paint them.

Here in pictures, the realization of this command...
