Winter returns to the studio with the reappearance of snowy paintings. Whites once again dominate the palette. While eagerly awaiting the chance to return to setting up my easel in the snow at Sils Maria, I paint in the warmth of my studio.
Inspired by Pekka Halonen's snowscape exhibition at the Petit Palais in Paris, as well as Gerhard Richter's Engadine paintings at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, I'm starting a series of small, intimate paintings of Sils Maria. I'm really enjoying painting them, playing with all the shades of white. I can't wait to share them with you soon.
introduce them.
