Gaëlle Mot was Born in 1971 in France.

She lives and works in Geneva.

 

Trained at the Atelier du Passage in Paris for over 10 years, Gaëlle Mot was a student of Georges Faget-Bénard and Jean Arcelin. Throughout her career, the artist enriched her oil painting technique by attending workshops with renowned painters such as Stéphane Ruais (Peintre Officiel de la Marine) and Thierry Lefort. Today, Gaëlle Mot works in her studio in Carouge, where she teaches oil painting.

 

While oil painting is her preferred medium, Gaëlle Mot also practices engraving (aquatint) and photogravure at the Atelier Genevois de Gravure Contemporaine. She follows the teachings of Pablo Osorio.
